The bunkers in this area were part of the Stützpunktgruppe Zandvoort. Along the way, you’ll encounter the 32-meter-high dune called Tonneblink, which also housed a bunker. Near Rozenberg, there is a supply bunker, and in the surrounding dunes, V1 rockets were launched toward England. The soldiers stationed here were mainly tasked with guarding the coast. Most of the bunkers were relatively small in size.
Some of the bunkers are now buried under the shifting dunes, but the bunker landscape is still clearly visible in the area. In addition to self-guided walks, guided tours are also available — the Zandvoorts Museum regularly organizes excursions through this historical site.
