A warning against racism and fascism
The resistance monument reminds residents of Oosterwolde (municipality of Ooststellingwerf) of the struggle against the occupying forces and the regained freedom.
The memorial also serves as a warning against racism and fascism. The monument was unveiled on 4 May 1985 and was created by Piet Keuning, Kees Hoogendam and Jos Mosselveld.
