Commemorative meeting cemetery Zoutestraat Hulst , Tower firing Basilica 80 years ago.

On 13 September 2024, it will be 80 years since 6 civilian casualties of war in Hulst .

At the request of several families and our wish as working group, it has been decided to hold a memorial meeting on 13 September at the Historic Cemetery Zoutestraat.

Here all war victims known from the municipality of Hulst will be commemorated.

The programme is as follows :

19.00 welcome by Mrs Thuy-van de Velde

19.05 address by Mayor Jense-van Haarst

19.15 reading , stories War victims municipality of Hulst

19.30 reading of names of War victims

19.45 two minutes of silence ,

after the reading of the names there is the possibility to lay flowers at the war victims or at the joint memorial .

There will also be the opportunity to visit the exhibition in the bierhuisje .

Chairs are provided for the elderly
