During the summer, National Monument Camp Vught provides tours of part of the former SS compound, where the camp headquarters was located.
Normally, the Van Brederode Barracks on Lunettenlaan are not open to the public. Participants pass through the authentic buildings in which SS guards worked and resided during the war. The tour passes the former Kommandantur (the camp's main building), the horse stables and the camp commander's thatched villa.
Visitors look out over the roll call area from the commander's balcony. In the Kommandantur, the presentation "From the Top" about the organization and role of the camp leadership and staff can be seen. Following this, a visit to the Engineer Museum is possible (included in participation), which is located in the former camp kitchen.
