Freedom Run - Liberty Loop

On Sunday, 17 September, this year's Freedom Run - Liberty Loop will take place with a partly new route along the Little Dommel.

The recreational run offers five different distances and is named after the well-known veterans Ken, Denys, Bill, Joe and Armando. At 10:30 am, the first starting gun will be fired in the centre of Geldrop at De Weeffabriek for the children's run (1/2 and 1 Mile), followed by the 10, 8 and 4 Miles from 11:00 am.

This edition is also going to be a tribute to all liberators and especially to Joe Cattini, who recently passed away. That's why this year's edition is called 'A tribute to Joe Cattini'.

The kids' run is also part of the event again. Children from group 3 of primary school can participate free of charge. The registration fee for adults is only €1.80 (an amount referring to 18 September, Liberation Day in the region) and kept extra low this year to get many runners at the start. By taking part, the runners can pay their respects to Joe's daughter Francis, and family members, who will be present.
