The War and Garrison Museum "De Smederij" in Ede.
The Forge is the military-historical information center of the Military History Platform. The Forge is located at the Arthur Kool barracks, a monumental building from 1908 with a rich military history.
With the information center, the platform aims to support battlefield tourism in Ede. The platform provides guided tours, organizes exhibitions, welcomes schools, and offers walking and cycling routes.
The military history of Ede is presented through two main themes: 'The Garrison Ede' and 'Ede during World War II'.
